You shouldn't need credit for Skype unless you are using it to call phones.  I used it this summer for a class I taught called Night Photography.  I was able to get 2 guest speakers - one from California and the other from Canada- to talk about their work for an hour each. Definitely interested, Quinn.  I think using Skype is a great idea!  A feed from the darkbox would be a coup.  If you're creating an email distribution for this...hit me at hiottb@mac.com.

.....To do:  check Skype balance prior to the webcast!  I've run out of credit in the middle of a phone call before...what a pain!

I think it's a great idea! I am interested, but it all comes down to time, of course. 

Maybe you could also sell the webcasts later on your web site, for those who missed it.

i use skype as my only phone service.  it works great.  i have talked with about 3 people at one time before.
